Persimmon Country Club

As a professional wedding photographer, I can say that this venue is incredible for weddings. Not only is it close to Portland Oregon, but the views here are spectacular. With Mount Hood looming in the background of practically every shot, this place is here to make your wedding day that much more beautiful. We had a blast riding around in the golf carts and snapping photos around every corner of the venue. I Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

We held our class reunion in the banquet room this past weekend. The room and view was nice however the food was awful. Fettuccine Alfredo and a pasta and sausage, that were kept warm and tasted awful. It was really disappointing with the price we paid for the room and food. The only good food was the appetizer but then again it’s hard to screw up meat and cheese.

This is a lovely private country club with a staff of very amazing and wonderful people. My wife and I joined it after looking at several country clubs in the Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR area. We fell in love with Persimmon Country Club (PCC) only minutes after our arrival there! It has a beautiful 18 hole golf course with a driving range, pool, and more importantly tennis courts. Aside from the beauty of PCC the tennis courts were a huge win for our choice to become members here because my wife plays alot of tennis/pickel ball, and most of the private country clubs in the area DO NOT have tennis courts. We drive from Vancouver, WA to go to PCC in Gresham, even though there are private country clubs closer to us in Vancouver, and we honestly don't mind the small commute. If fact, we prefer the remote quiet setting of where PCC is located, as it is without the sounds of a neighboring road with heavy automobile traffic. We also found that PCC has great dining menus and food that comes with a simply stunning unobstructed view over the golf course towards Mount Hood from the Overlook lounge and the Persimmon grill (see attached photos). There is also a nice snack bar lounge at the pool/tennis area. All this and the price for membership turned out to be the most amazing, hard to beat, value for any private country in the area. My wife and I are so happy we chose Persimmon Country Club. It's simply a must see if you are looking for a private country club membership in the Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR area.
